the subdudes
3:30 pm to 4:30 pm |
 |
Led by singer / guitarist Tommy Malone and accordonist John Magnie, the Subdudes draw most
of their inspiration from the sounds of New Orleans, blending blues with gospel, funk, all with harmonious vocals.
The Subdudes are also notable for the substitution of a tambourine player for a drummer.

Steve Reynolds Band
2:30 pm to 3:15 pm |
 |
Reynolds’ finger picking style lends itself equally well whether it’s boogie-woogie, jazz, delta blues, Irish, soft ballads or full-on rockers with horns. Representing Flagstaff, Ariz., Steve is a former winner of the Telluride Blues and Brews Festival’s solo blues contest and has just released his second CD “Downriver.” Many of Reynolds’ compositions reflect a sly sense of humor as well as an ability to tell a good story, a craft that seems to be missing from much pop music today.
